26 years ago, in a third-year classroom of a middle school, there was a student named Misaki. As an honors student who was also good at sports, the charming girl was popular with her classmates. When she suddenly died, her classmates decided to carry on as if she was still alive until graduation. Then, in the spring of 1998, a boy named Sakakibara Kouichi transfers to that classroom, and he grows suspicious of the fearful atmosphere in that classroom. In particular, there is a beautiful, aloof girl named Mei Misaki who wears an eyepatch and is always alone drawing pictures.

I skimmed through a little bit of the manga as well, and was left quite confused. It does seem interesting, though, so I'll probably end up giving it a try.

The PV's actually make it look almost decent (other than the huge quantity of glowing breasts), but it's probably going to end up being another all-fanservice show. I'll give it a try, on the off chance that it manages to go in the plot direction, but I have low expectations, especially since the protagonist has so many character traits that I despise.

It certainly looks like an interesting show, and if the PV is anything to go by, the battles are going to be full of all kinds of eye candy. Another one for my watch list.

For some reason, I can't help but think of Zegapain (probably due to the setting and glowy mecha) and the remade Reideen (mecha transformation) when I watch the PV. It's a mecha show, though, so I'm probably going to end up watching it.

What is it with the huge pile of old anime getting new parts? Last Exile, Aquarion, HxH, Prince of Tennis... did all the producers suddenly run out of new material or something? Or maybe they figure that the middle and high school kids who were into them now have jobs and can afford to buy it all themselves now? Anyway, this is one I'm not interested in.
